At least according to Chinese manufactures of plastic American flags.
Tim Childress thought he was being patriotic when he went to buy an American flag at his local Dollar Tree store in Dallas. But he soon discovered that his purchase was a cheap impostor of Old Glory that was emblazoned with a not-so authentic 61 stars.
The World Cup is halfway over and The Big Picture has the photos to prove it. The group stage is complete and the round of 16 kicks off tomorrow. I haven’t missed a game so far and I’m hoping I can keep that going through the championship.

Yahoo! has been slowly killing Flickr and driving away it’s core staff since the day they acquired the photo-sharing site in 2005. Yesterday they announced the single largest improvement in the site since the acquisition.
The new layout (which isn’t live yet) has some big layout and feature improvements. Can’t wait to see it in the flesh. Kudos.

YouTube, known for their hijinks has caught World Cup fever and recently added a vuvuzela button to many of their videos. Just select the football/soccer ball in the control bar of the video and the melodic hum of South African vuvuzelas will drown out the audio of the vide.

Update: The plugin HeadSpace2 was wreaking havoc on my Edit Post pages and it’s WordPress Plugin Page confirms that it’s “broken”. After I disabled it everything was all good. And All in One SEO Pack can get the job done just as well.
