Two airline industry titans, Virgin Atlantic and American Airlines, are putting a new face on their respective images for extremely similar reasons (American has gone through bankruptcy and is prepping for a merger with US Airlines and Virgin has their own financial issues and potential merger talks). Their messages however, couldn’t be more different.

American Airlines wants you to know they’re going to have new planes, soon.

And Kanye. They’ve got Kanye.

Virgin Atlantic wants you to know their people are extraordinary.
