Microsoft still doesn’t get it

The web standards community has been at odds with Microsoft for ages. And today we get just another reminder that they still don’t understand what it’s all about. They’ve long fought against consistency and a seamless web experience, in favor of their restrictive, proprietary and unqualified products.
So as Google further embraces HTML5 and ending the use of browser plug-ins, it’s no surprise that Microsoft is doubling down on one of their own. No other way to describe it than just plain sad.
