The language of Lego

Lego pieces come in all different shapes and sizes, and so do the names for each of those pieces. They change from kid-to-kid, house-to-house, generation-to-generation. What exactly they’re called is where it gets interesting.
â€œCan you see any clippy bits?â€ my son asked his friend. The friend was flummoxed. â€œDo you mean handy bits?â€ he asked, pointing.
â€œYes,â€ replied my boy. â€œClippy bits.â€
