25,921 Teddy Bears Thrown Onto Ice Rink

Each year the Calgary Hitmen of Canada’s Western Hockey League have a Teddy Bear Toss night where after the team scores the first goal of the night fans toss teddy bears (wrapped in plastic bags) onto the ice. The last few years it’s really taken off and this year they set a new record by collecting over 25,000 bears. Here’s a video with a view from closer to the ice.
