Death to the RFP
31 Aug 2009
It’ll never happen, but we can dream right? I know Andy Rutledge is on board. I don’t often agree with Andy and some of his rants seem far too personal to be much more than the cantankerous ramblings of a small-business owner scorned. But on this one, Andy couldn’t have been more spot on.
Not only did he take on the tall task of explaining to non-creatives as to why RFPs are a bad idea and the appearance that reliance upon them gives off, but he also delved into the more important part. What to do instead. I always appreciate those who can provide suggestions and solutions with the problems they present.
